There’s a lot around here, and Starbucks is only about a five-minute walk away, so the location in Sangnam-dong was a real plus. This is a budget motel in Changwon, and it has its own parking area, though it looked like it could fit only around four cars. It’s very tight. We’d booked the walking option, but ended up renting a car because of our plans and parked for a short time while we checked in. The owner even asked whether we’d booked the walking option, haha. They clearly keep an eye on parking. The outside looked much flashier than I’d expected, which felt a little odd when we went in. The check-in desk is on the fifth floor. The elevator is small, like in an old-style motel, and the owner’s counter area was cramped. We got there at 4 PM even though check-in starts at 5 PM, but the owner let us in anyway. The bed was soft and the room was clean, with no dust or bugs. Wi-Fi worked well, and the air conditioner, TV, and hairdryer all worked fine. The bathroom had good hot water and water pressure, and drained well. For the price, the facilities were good, and we had a comfortable one-night stay without any inconvenience.
