Hotel Avenue Changwon

The room isn't especially large, though the hotel's right in the city center, which makes getting around very convenient. Nearby, you can take a walk by YongJi Lake and enjoy the cherry blossoms.

At first the hotel seems a little out of the way, but once you're there, it's clear how well placed it is. Lotte and Emart are an easy walk, the part of is amazing, the museum is great, and Changwons newest, hippest eating and hangout area is just across the park. There's also a Starbucks next door that opens early. I've spent about a month here in separate stays and am heading back again. Hotel Avenue means a lot to me, and the staff are courteous and friendly.

The Korean-style breakfast suited my taste, and I was very happy with the modern, clean room. The hotel faces a park with a big pond. My only issue was that a machine in the toilet didn't work the way I asked it to, though that's not the hotel's fault.

The staff are very friendly and welcoming, and there's a kettle with tea and coffee in the room. It's a nice, quiet place near a lake and park. You can jog around the lake, and the road has a special design for foot massage, with a foot shower at the exit and a map showing the massage points. Very original. A very strong 3.
