The residential area around it is quiet, and there’s a gas station nearby with decent prices. During my four-night, five-day business trip to Cheongju, I stayed at several motels, and this one had clean interiors and plenty of room. Parking space is ample, though it’s split somewhat awkwardly between the first and second floors. Getting in and out of the second floor is a hassle because the entrance is narrow and steep. The mattresses felt hard, and unlike motels in Gyeongdong, there’s no self-service bar. Cheongju’s heavy commuter traffic was the main drawback.

I liked the roomy, comfortable space and simple design, which made it easy to focus on studying. I did miss having breakfast or snacks available.

The room was in good shape, the parking area was roomy, and the price was reasonable. It’s a bit inconvenient now that the convenience store on the first floor is closed.
