I can't really speak to the hotel's quality, but I liked the spa a lot. The hot spring water comes from mineral-rich groundwater. You're supposed to let it dry on your skin and skip showering until the next day.

The room felt roomy, with a double bed. It was clean and inexpensive, and I loved the hot spring shower and bath. My skin felt so smooth afterward. The room rate was around 110,000 won according to the hotel booking app. The basic price is 9,000 won, and it was 6,000 won per person. A coffee pot, mini-fridge, and microwave are available in the hallway. The bathroom had plenty of toilet paper and towels, with everything else except a toothbrush, toothpaste, and shower towels. Juwangsan Mountain is about a 20-minute drive away. Downtown is a short drive or within walking distance, and there's a Chinese restaurant nearby.

Room choices include doubles, twins, Ondol Rooms, and Family Rooms, so there are options for different group sizes and needs. Solgi Hot Springs is in a separate building, though the same slippery-feeling hot spring water is supplied to the guest room bathrooms. Breakfast costs extra, and there's a café on the first floor. The hotel is in Cheongsong-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do, on the outskirts of Cheongsong County Office and a little off the main road to Juwangsan National Park. Sangui Ticket Office, the park entrance, is 14km away. The area is fairly secluded, so I think it's good value except during the autumn foliage season.
