Hundert Hills

My one-day stay turned into three days because the ship didn’t sail. I was glad I had to stay longer: there were lots of facilities, and they replaced all the towels, plastic items, and disposables for two days. That was really nice.

The arched windows looked out onto Udo’s green lawn and the ocean, which made waking up there especially calming. The layout of Hundert Hills B Building 102 felt just right, with a private, quiet atmosphere, a European-style exterior, and a tidy interior. There were two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a spacious living room and kitchen, all arranged in a way that felt relaxing, almost like a luxury resort. Warm lighting and stylish furniture made the living room cozy, and the kitchen had practical amenities and was clean. The bathroom was clean and luxurious too, with a hotel-like feel, plus an automatic sensor bidet and flush. Of all the places I stayed on Udo Island, this one satisfied me the most. The careful details helped me have a genuinely restful day, and I’m sure it’ll be a memorable place to stay on Udo. I’d definitely come back on my next trip.

I was deeply moved by the works of Hundert and Jeong Eun-hye in the art gallery. I’d thought it would be nice if Udo had a resort with a pool, but touring the gallery changed my perspective and left me quite touched. This book explains why the hotel and art gallery were designed, too. There were some service shortcomings, including the initial luggage transfer. I hope the place prospers.

The room itself was in good condition, but the service left me dissatisfied from the beginning, and that made the stay unpleasant. I’d chosen the place because the reviews looked good. Maybe there have been recent service problems, but I didn’t find the pickup or customer service very friendly.
