The pension was quiet and just right for relaxing. I’d like to try the swimming pool in summer, and I’m definitely planning to come back to Chuncheon, since I didn’t get to visit Kim Yu-jeong Station this time. I’d planned to walk after arriving, but when I called to confirm my reservation, they offered to pick me up. They drove me from the supermarket to the accommodation, where the owner was waiting out front. I felt very welcome. The place is on the third floor, up a flight of stairs, and I was surprised by how clean the room was. There was everything I needed, including toothpaste, a toothbrush, dishes, water, and a clothes steamer, so I didn’t really need to buy disposable things. After unpacking, I filled the spa for a half-bath, played "Justing Dance" on the Nintendo, then went to barbecue. Barbecue costs an extra 20,000 won, but there’s also a grilling space inside if you’d rather not pay. They said I didn’t need to wash the grill plate. When I said I wanted to barbecue for the atmosphere, they even set up a fire pit for me to sit by. They were unbelievably kind. There were lots of cats, and I’d never heard meows like theirs before. They were just little "myah" sounds, so even my boyfriend, who’s afraid of animals, was happy, lol. There was a Nintendo and a spa, too. Seriously, it’s the best place I’ve ever stayed.
