The room didn’t block much noise from next door, and the bathroom was very small. Otherwise, it was good.

Being listed as a hostel made me expect less, but this place was clean, neat, recently renovated-looking, and comfortable. My spouse stayed for a week in Seoul in November 2016 and found it just right. The room was private, small, had a lock, and came with its own bathroom. The woman in charge was lovely and very helpful. They even supplied an electrical adapter, though we didn’t expect that for a $45 USD a night place. It was a great base for getting around on public transportation, with attractions nearby for walks, sightseeing, and street food. There was a simple free breakfast too. My spouse was traveling with friends at the nearby, pricey JW Marriott and felt this was an insane value, especially since they spent the days touring and mostly came back to sleep. For a nice, safe, clean place to rest before the next day’s plans, it worked really well.

The entrance is tucked into an alley, so we had to look it up at first, but found it fine with some googling. The guest house is really close to Dongdaemum station, and the tiny room was enough for us, with its own bathroom and shower gel, shampoo, toothbrushes, and toothpaste. There’s a kitchen and dining area by the entrance, with a fridge stocked with things like eggs, milk, and bread, plus different kinds of Korean ramen. We saved quite a bit by using the basics every day. A washing machine was available too, which made washing and drying our clothes super convenient. I wouldn’t hesitate to give this guest house five stars for what a tourist needs. We’ll definitely return someday!

I stayed for a week about a year ago and felt really good here while visiting Seoul. The owner was a very nice woman. It’s near a subway station and a big shopping area, and I’d recommend it as an inexpensive place to stay.
