Gangchon Starvalley Pension

The owner was so considerate. He drove us to the station in the morning since we weren't on a road trip, and earlier, when he realized we hadn't bought food for our evening barbecue, he took us straight to a nearby supermarket. He also put together a delicious fruit platter for us that night. The guesthouse itself was lovely, a little old but very clean, with a small, neat swimming pool. The owner's three dogs were adorable and friendly. We were really grateful for all the help, and would happily return and recommend the place to friends.

The outside looked a bit old, but inside it was packed and cozy, and the owners' care showed everywhere. Both owners were incredibly warm and friendly. We enjoyed grilling on the terrace, and there were a few cute, shy dogs around. Everything was clean. ^^ Enjoy your stay!

The owner picked us up after stopping by a market at Gangchon Station. Driving there ''Is this the right place?'?' was the kind of road that surprised me too, the room was much more comfortable and clean than I expected, and I really liked it. The owner was really kind, and the dogs were so cute! I was worried since it was a last-minute trip, but I got to rest well. Although it felt like we were in the middle of a forest, there were fewer bugs and mosquitoes than I expected, so it wasn't too uncomfortable. Next time, I'll bring a swimsuit, 2nd-floor room with a large window that I'd like to book.

The owner was really kind and seems like a lovely person, and my child and I had a great time playing. There were pool tubes available. Just know the convenience store isn't close enough to walk to, so bring whatever you'll need.
