Jackson9s Hotel

Chuncheon itself is amazing, but this hotel nearly ruined our trip. The first room was filthy, with handprints, hair, and blood everywhere. Our second room was beside a train line, and an entire baseball team (Kiwoon Heroes) was on our floor. The windows were paper thin, and the players partied until 5, so we got no sleep. On our second day we tried the "adult bar," but it was full of kids running around with no parents in sight. We ordered beers, waited 10 minutes, then went to ask about them. The bartender had forgotten the order, even though there were three bartenders and only two tables of customers, including us. There was nothing good about the hotel. Without a car, the location is terrible, with a 15-minute walk each way to the nearest restaurant area. Don’t stay here.

I felt sick again just writing this. The place was filthy and unhygienic, the dirtiest hotel I’ve ever been to. There was hair on the pillows, the cups hadn’t been washed, cigarette butts on the balcony, and used soap in the bathroom. The balcony doors were the strangest part: handprints all over the glass made me imagine what the previous guests had been doing. At least they seemed to have a good time.

Please stay away from racism.

The room was clean and had a balcony with a view. Breakfast isn’t available at the moment because of the pandemic.
