The owner was very friendly before check-in, but after that it was hard to get in touch. Most things felt worn out and poorly maintained. For what I paid, there was very little in the pension building that we could actually use properly. It ended up feeling like a place to sleep and eat, and that's about it. At a light off-season price, I might have shrugged it off, but at the regular peak-season rate, I wouldn't return. The website popup said the water would be filled, but when we arrived it came up to just below the knees. I don't know if you can tell from the photos, but this isn't a house over water. Staff said they draw water from underground and there wasn't enough because of the drought. They should at least have told guests about that beforehand. There was a spider about as long as two finger joints crawling around in the room. I can understand bugs outside by the outdoor pool, but I still think they should at least be cleared away. The dog pool was full of bugs too, maybe because it was off-season, and couldn't be used. The jacuzzi hadn't been cleaned. When I turned it on, rotten grime came pouring out, and the shower in the jacuzzi bathroom didn't work, so we couldn't use the jacuzzi at all. The dog exercise area also seemed badly managed, and I wondered whether an ashtray really belonged there.

The interior was neat and clean, the place felt unusual, and the night view was lovely. I have a dog, so I was worried about dog hair and poop smells, but there was nothing to worry about. We made some good memories. One thing, a sign at the entrance would help. I drove past it and had to turn back. ^^

The owner was welcoming and really nice, and speaks Chinese. Highly recommend!

The pension's interior smelled strongly of urine, so we couldn't take it and left after having a barbecue. There were lots of signs that dogs had marked their territory, and it didn't seem to have been cleaned or maintained properly. Watch the corners and the sofa. The owner was kind, but that doesn't mean the place is managed well. It's pet-friendly, and I expected decent facilities, but the inside was a problem. Being in the Gapyeong mountains, I expected some bugs, though people who are sensitive to them may find it difficult. Keep all that in mind if you're planning to stay.

I didn't take any photos because I was so freaked out by the bugs that I didn't want to. Honeybees were flying around the kitchen as soon as I walked in, then I saw five ladybugs and a spider the size of a person's palm on the wall. I'm terrified of bugs and don't think I could ever go back. The place also didn't look like the photos, which was disappointing. There was a terrible smell, and it seemed the pots and dishes hadn't been washed properly. I almost threw up, and ended up buying disposable plates, cutlery, and chopsticks to eat with.
