Stay High

It's quiet, with high ceilings and a tiny space used pretty cleverly. For a simple longer stay, it has what you need: laundry, a microwave, dishes, its own stove, and fast internet. There's no kettle, though, just boiling water in the hallway. For the price in this area, it might be okay. The cleaning was uneven. The main area was clean, but there was peeling wallpaper held up with tape in spots, cobwebs in the ceiling corners, lots of dust under the table and bed, and dust on the top bunk. Coming from the 4* Traders Hotel in Abu Dhabi, I found it pretty disappointing. Still, it's livable, and overall clean and tidy.

The room and bathroom looked like the listing photos and description. The host was easy to reach, and there was an elevator, fast Wi-Fi, a hair dryer, TV, refrigerator, en-suite bathroom, washing machine, AC, heater, hangers, towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, plenty of facial tissues and toilet paper, windows for airflow, and a fairly soft mattress. Some things could be better: there were no slippers, and the washing machine didn't have a dryer. A few towels were stained and faded. Dust had built up in hard-to-reach spots, including the Wi-Fi modem and TV. I had to hold the modem to check the Wi-Fi password, then wipe it with a tissue because it was so dusty. The cupboard for towels, tissues, and the hair dryer was dusty too, except for the area where the towels were kept. The window opened, but it was dusty, and the curtain was broken with only a few hooks still attached. The bottom of the sink was dirty, and there seemed to be mold on the wall near the bathroom trash can. It wasn't too expensive, so I thought it was fairly good value. Maybe I'll try another room type next time. The Airbnb listing has twin beds, and they're in the Hongdae area too.

Small, but it has everything you need, and it's near the H metro station.
