The price seemed reasonable to me, and the room was cute. It’s cheap accommodation, so you can’t expect too much. I personally enjoyed staying here and don’t know why it got a bad review. Sookmyung uni station is very close. If the room and bathroom are clean, that’s enough for me.

The room’s a bit small, but it’s cozy, and I felt really happy staying here. The facilities are great: a kitchen, washing machine, rooftop dispenser, and coffee machine. The room itself was okay. It’s a really good place, and I’d recommend it to travelers. Don’t listen to the bad reviews.

I couldn’t stay, so we moved out the following day and booked another hostel. I have asthma and other breathing problems, and I soon started coughing and feeling ill. The bathroom was just as bad as the room: the toilet seat was the wrong shape and size, the sink had a thick layer of grime, and insects were running over the floor. We also met a young girl who was leaving that day. She was glad to go and said her room had been really cold. We were booked for five nights in April this year. On arrival, cases and very large, round, white objects blocked the entrance hall. A man cleared some space and carried my case upstairs. The hall and stairs had filthy, loose patchwork carpets that seemed dangerous. Our room door was swollen with damp and took several tugs to open and close. At first the room looked okay, but the damp smell was overwhelming. Wallpaper was peeling, there was black mold under the bed, and the so-called kitchen was filthy. When we raised these problems with the manager, he blamed the damp on that day’s rain, which was rubbish, it looked like years of damp. He said nobody else had complained and asked what we expected for the price. He wouldn’t refund anything. Please don’t use this place. I have photos and have just found out how to post them.

The room was cute and the location was great. The owner was super kind, and there’s cold drinking water and free laundry in the building. I’d definitely stay again. For such a low price, I think we got a lot more than we paid for.
