Chungju Seongsan Pension

You can pick as many greens as you like from the garden, and the owner's generous hospitality made the stay even better. Seongsan Pension felt like a place to unwind: the room was warm, and when I opened the living room window, Lake Chungju was right there. In May, the wild roses smelled lovely. The neat landscaping and pretty flowers show how much care the owner puts into the place. There's a pool and a stream downstairs, with facilities for water activities, so it seems ideal for a summer trip with children.
