After checking in at Checkpoint 11, Binaeseom Certification Centre, Donkey and I came here during our cross-country bike trip. We still have a lot of checkpoints to pass before reaching Busan. The hotel looks glamorous and polished, quite different from the other places nearby, and the whole property is kept very clean and tidy. Our room was bright, roomy, comfortable, and had plenty of useful amenities and supplies. One thing for cyclists to know: bikes can’t be brought into rooms at all. They have to go in the secure storage area on the 1st floor, where we felt comfortable leaving ours. Breakfast was a highlight, with a self-serve ramen station and fresh ingredients, utensils, and hot water for cooking the noodles yourself. It was simple and satisfying after a long ride or before setting off, and there were plenty of other fresh, tasty, well-prepared options too. A stylish, comfortable, well-run place in Chungju. Cyclists should plan for the bike storage arrangement. My ratings: accommodation 5/5, service 4/5, facilities 4/5, overall 5/5.

The downside is the complimentary breakfast. There was just one jug of milk for the whole hotel, overcooked boiled eggs that seemed days old, packet ramen, and butter sachets left out for days instead of kept in the fridge. It makes the place look cheap. The rooms, on the other hand, are great: very clean and fresh, comfortable beds, a 65" TV, and a nice bathroom. Free parking and good security for cyclists, too. A solid three-star stay.

After a month travelling around Korea, this was the best hotel we’d stayed in, and a wonderful surprise. The beds were super comfortable, everything was clean and modern, and the staff were amazing. There are free snacks available in the basement all day and night: americano and espresso, toast, milk, cereal, ramen, and juice. I’d highly recommend it.

It felt luxurious, and the room was clean and comfortable, with a big bathtub and a TV with Netflix. The staff were really helpful and kind. Downstairs in the basement, free snacks are available all day, including cereal, toast, ramen, coffee, milk, and juice. Great value for the price. I loved staying here.
