Daegu Billion Western Hotel

We spent three nights here: my parents-in-law, our guest, my husband, and me. The room was spacious and clean, and having an LG Styler was a particularly nice extra. The staff were very accommodating, and breakfast was decent. We’d definitely consider staying here again.

Staying here felt like learning how to use a hotel all over again, from leaving your shoes at the entrance to figuring out the restrooms and other things. As someone new to this kind of Korean luxury hotel, I found it a fantastic experience. The room was quiet, comfortable, functional, well equipped, and super clean, with a private jacuzzi section just for me. One of the best places to stay in Daegu, if not the best. I highly recommend it.

For business trips, this hotel works especially well if you're going to sites in Daegu's North West industrial area. Rooms are modern, with good WiFi, comfortable beds, and clean, well-designed facilities, including a large bath and a separate shower. Breakfast is a self-service buffet with the usual Korean dishes, plus cereal and facilities for making toast. The only small snag was that the coffee machine had no English translation.

The room is great and has lots of useful services and facilities. Breakfast, though, isn't something to look forward to.
