Grandis Hotel

I couldn’t sleep well because noises from another room carried through until 1 a.m. I’m not sure whether the soundproofing was poor or a window had been left open. The facilities were decent, so that was a shame. The rooms are supposed to be non-smoking, but I smelled cigarette smoke when I went in. I mentioned it and they switched rooms right away.

Three stars, but the entrance and view feel motel-level. Great value for the money!

I was very disappointed when my green hat went missing after the room was cleaned. I clearly remember it being in or on top of my open suitcase beforehand, and I’d never taken it outside. After I asked the front desk about it, they suggested it could have been my own mistake and seemed unconcerned, without properly checking into what happened. I understand there’s no basis to suspect a staff member, but I wish the hotel had responded with more care and responsibility to an issue that came up after cleaning. The whole response felt unsatisfactory and left me upset. I’d advise guests to keep a close eye on their belongings.
