The Grand Lotte Seoul

The standout for us was the service. We had a small problem with the bathtub, and the staff apologized, upgraded us to a higher room category without us asking, and checked in during the stay to make sure things were all right. Everyone we met, from reception and concierge to security, was polite and helpful. Our room at Lotte Hotel Seoul was huge and spotless, and the property is beautifully designed. It's right in the heart of Myeongdong, so we could walk to almost every major city attraction. We also ate at Pierre Gagnaire, the hotel's 3-Michelin-starred restaurant. Every dish topped the one before, and the pile of desserts at the end was mind-blowing. It's pricey, but worth it. I'd highly recommend the hotel and stay there again on my next Seoul trip.

I can only speak to the lounge. We met family there and the service was pleasant and courteous throughout. It was after dinner, so I only had a coffee. At 20,000 won, the cup was small, and in my opinion the coffee itself wasn't good enough to justify the price. My family said the other drinks were satisfactory, though not exceptional.

The city view was beautiful, the buffet had plenty for everyone, and the staff were polite and super helpful. Shopping is close, including Lotte and luxury and department stores, and the subway is nearby too. The room was clean but a little worn. The sink stopper needs adjusting so the water can drain.

We're on our first day of three on the 25th floor at Lotte Hotel Seoul, and I wanted to write while we're still so impressed. The 34th-floor lounge has risen to the top of the hotel lounges we've tried on our travels. There's a great range of tasty food, from proteins and vegetables to fruit, desserts and drinks. Our room is beautiful, very clean and smells lovely. The shower feels like a spa, the bed is large and super comfortable, and the windows look out over the city. The lobby is lovely too, and the hotel is close to places to shop and walk around. Everyone has been professional, kind and approachable, from the lobby staff member who greeted us, to the team on the 15th floor who checked us in, to the people in the lounge. We feel so welcome, and really appreciate them. I highly recommend staying here if you're visiting Seoul. Hope you enjoy the city as much as we do! 🇨🇦
