Daegu Dongseongro Hotel Labella

The room felt new, and the soundproofing worked really well. I was on the sixth floor with three windows, and once they were all shut, the noise disappeared. Downstairs, the area stays lively late into the night, with some places open until 6 a.m. A good fit if you’re into clubbing or nightlife.

The breakfast was delicious and had lots to choose from. There’s also a 24-hour snack bar with ramen, boiled eggs, warm rice, pastries, coffee, milk and juice, so you can pick something up whenever you like. I’d happily recommend it, and I’d stay at Hotel Labella again when I’m in Daegu. My room was on the third floor, although I’d asked for a higher one. It had a huge 90-inch TV, and the triple-pane windows kept out the street noise from the busy bar street nearby. The bedding was clean and comfortable, and the heavy room door shut securely and kept hallway sounds out. Even with all that activity outside, the lobby was quiet. I checked out at 5 a.m. on May 22, 2026. The night before, I asked the staff to arrange a taxi, and they were polite and friendly, repeatedly assuring me they’d follow up. At 4:55 a.m. the next morning, I woke her to contact the driver and arrange the ride to Daegu Airport. The hotel was a little hard to locate, and I couldn’t find its address when I tried calling a taxi through K-ride. May 20-22, 2026, three days and two nights.

Getting there meant driving all the way around the city center, which made me a bit tense. The alleys are narrow too, so you have to pay attention when checking out and heading out. The room was clean and had a large TV. I was especially surprised by breakfast: for a motel-level place, it covered the basics and was better than I expected.
