Daegu Pearl

The room was clean, though I found a bottle of soju in the fridge, probably left by the previous guest. If it was meant as a complimentary drink, that would be unusual. I stayed in a Standard room for lodging, checking in at 7:00 PM and checking out at 11:30 AM. The bathtub fits one adult male and has a spa function. There’s no wall between it and the bed, and to watch TV you have to sit with your back to the tub. The toilet is separate, with another shower in that area. Maybe because it was winter, the room felt very dry.

The place itself wasn’t bad, but the drunk couple next door kept fighting and carrying on until 2 a.m. You could hear them even at the counter. I don’t know whether anyone there heard me.

There aren’t any restaurants nearby. The room had a strange, male scent?

The room smelled strongly of cigarettes, and it looked somewhat different from the photos. There’s no elevator.
