I first arrived in Daegu early on February 16, 2026, and the male front desk staff member working around 6:00 AM made me feel very welcome. His professional, kind help meant a lot and gave me a wonderful first impression of the city. Thank you for such a lovely experience.

The breakfast stood out, with a generous mix of Korean and Western food, especially the instant noodle cooker ๐. It was our first time in Daegu, and in Korea, and the hotel is in a great spot in the busy center. We walked right over from the bus station. We expected noise, but our stay was calm and quiet.

Despite being right in the middle of town, it was quiet. The rooms and beds were clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was decent and separate from the room.

The manager was so helpful with local information, and when she saw my wedding clothes were badly creased, she kindly offered to straighten my trousers and shirt. The breakfast was nice too, with fresh fruit, toast, croissants, and good coffee. Hotel Insomnia is right in central, bustling Daegu, yet the place is modern and clean, with friendly staff. The rooms are spacious and well equipped with moisturiser, free soft drinks, hair dryers, straighteners, walk-in showers, and great air conditioning. I don't usually review hotels, but I felt I had to recommend this one. The location is perfect.

A really good stay, and the cleanest hotel we stayed at in South Korea. Breakfast had a nice balance, and there was a clothes sanitizer in the room. Great work by the owner!
