Hotel Pied Exco was a really convenient base for the EXCO hall, with plenty of places to shop and eat nearby. The staff were attentive, polite, and ready to help, and the hotel was spotless, modern, and thoughtfully laid out. I especially liked the tech in the room: a steamer wardrobe that refreshes clothes automatically, a massage chair that was a blessing after long conference days, an air purifier, and a bed warmer. A comfortable and innovative stay. Highly recommended.

I’ve never felt compelled to write a hotel review before, but this stay was so upsetting that I had to describe it. The soundproofing seemed almost nonexistent, and the noise from upstairs caused serious stress and sleep loss. It was frightening to be stuck in the room with no way to get away from what sounded like the ceiling collapsing. The room directly above mine seemed to be a family suite. Children ran around until 2 a.m., with heavy thuds and vibrations that made it feel as if the building were shaking. I was just about to fall asleep when the stomping began again at 8 a.m. and continued until checkout at 11. If you need proper rest, I strongly recommend avoiding this hotel. I’m sharing this for the public’s sake and hope nobody else has to go through it.

The hotel is near the Exco, and room service came daily with a full set of supplies: towels, bath cleaning products, water, and even condoms and lube. Breakfast was terrible, and one item, men's massage gel, was expired, though maybe nobody uses it anyway. The price was high.

I’m writing a hotel review for the first time because this was so shocking and upsetting. The room above mine seemed to be a family room, and children ran around until 2 a.m. The thumping and banging came through the ceiling and made the building shake, keeping me awake. After I was finally starting to sleep, the running began again at 8 a.m. and continued until just before the 11 a.m. checkout. It was so noisy that even talking to the person next to me was difficult. With nowhere to escape, the noise that sounded like the ceiling was collapsing at 2 a.m. and again at 8 a.m. was terrifying. Hotels are meant to offer a chance to relax, but this caused severe stress and sleep deprivation. If you want an ordinary night's rest, I strongly recommend staying elsewhere. I hope no one else has to experience this, and I’m writing for the public good.

The front desk woman was incredibly unfriendly and pushy. She spoke so rudely that it felt like she was picking a fight as soon as I walked in. I booked because the photos made this look like a hotel, but it felt like a motel, and I came away feeling ripped off. There are plenty of cheaper, decent places nearby, so compare prices before booking. Worst motel of the year!
