The cigarette smell was everywhere, clinging to every surface. I also found what looked like blood spots on the bathroom tiles, and could hear party guests in neighboring rooms and sounds from a love hotel through the bathroom vent. I only wanted a quiet night's sleep, but the place felt more like a love motel than a hotel, and should say so clearly.

The furniture was good, the bathroom was spacious, and everything had been prepared with real care.

The room is roomy for what it costs, and each bed had an electric blanket, which I appreciated. You can watch Netflix on the TV, too. It may be an old, worn-down motel, but you can tell they try to keep it clean.

It was reasonably priced and didn't seem poorly maintained. The soundproofing could be better, though.

For the location, the price initially seems affordable, but the maintenance issues make it feel less like a bargain. The sink shut-off valve is broken, and although the shower has hot water, the bathtub tap only runs cold. I can't tell whether that was intentional or just neglected upkeep.
