Yaja Daegu Dongseongro Seomunsijang

Good.

The parking is so cramped that a mid-size car barely fits, and there was a cigarette smell in the room that non-smokers would find unpleasant. The soundproofing was awful too. With the door open and the TV on next door, you could hear everything. I paid 45,000 won, but the service was so unfriendly that I left for another hotel after two hours. The woman at the front desk was unfriendly. I ignored the earlier reviews and paid for it.

I chose this place for its proximity to Seomun Night Market, but the route there was dark and rough, with poor road conditions. There was little around, not even a convenience store, and the night market wasn't open, which made for a disappointing trip. The room itself was okay, but the sound carried badly. I could hear the next room's toilet flush. Cleaning seemed haphazard, with hairs on the sheets and dust elsewhere. The shower head was too small to use comfortably, even alone. The amenities were basic, and there was no feminine hygiene product. When I asked for toilet paper because none was there, the landlady said she had none out and refused to give me any. Service was truly awful. Check-in was only from 8 PM, and when I asked to leave my luggage, she told me to put it roughly on the stairs upstairs, where it could easily be lost. I really can't recommend this place.

The area around it is decent, and the room is spacious. Maybe that's because I canceled somewhere else and came here. The owner wasn't especially friendly, though.
