Hera Motel

The place was cleaner and the staff friendlier than I expected. The parking lot, though, is small.

My friend and I were going to stay in Yuseong, so I booked a large room with two double beds for one night at Hera Motel. When we arrived, they said they didn't have the room we'd booked and offered two smaller rooms instead. I objected to the difference, but eventually went along with the owner's request and took the rooms. It was chilly inside. I thought it might warm up if we stayed longer, but I got so cold that I had to put on layers and socks. I boiled some water in a pot, drank it warm, and went back to bed. Having the wrong room was unpleasant enough, and it was also awful for my friend and me to shiver in separate rooms.

The price is cheap, but the bed is hard and the cleaning was average. Noise from the next room kept me from sleeping well. I'd bring earplugs.

It’s cheap, which is the main draw. Once you see inside, though, the low price makes sense. If all you need is somewhere to sleep, it could work.
