Hotel Dre Daejeon

The four-person family room was handy, with two separate sections and a Nintendo Switch to play with around the hotel. My one disappointment was the late afternoon check-in.

The front desk service was awful. They ignored my question, then after walking away I heard them muttering irritably behind my back. Their customer service attitude is zero.

I only came because every other hotel in front of the research complex was booked, and I never want to return. There were odd stains on the bedding, so I didn’t use it, and the room smelled strange. Condoms were scattered around, too. Even though this is a three-star hotel, not a motel, check-in was terribly late, perhaps because they rent rooms by the hour during the day. The staff didn’t properly check my identity, just tossed me the card, and didn’t explain even the basic services.

Right next to NC Department Store, so it’s handy for getting a meal. The place is clean and comfortable for an overnight stay, with prices starting around 60,000 won.
