Ocean Front Motel

The room was tidy, the owner was kind, and the price was reasonable. I'd stay here again.

Even one star feels like too much. The owner seemed focused on money and was extremely unfriendly. The rooms felt like an old-fashioned inn, and it seemed customers were seen only as a source of income. Owning the building also seemed to give them a sense of superiority.

The owners were kind, and the ondol room was nice and warm. My mother and I stayed in a triple room. Cooking isn't allowed, but there was a kettle, a mini-fridge, and one 1.5-liter bottle of water. The place was clean, with a water dispenser and microwave in the hallway. Navigation puts Jeongdongjin Station 10 minutes away, and you can see Sun Cruise Hotel from Anin Beach.

We stayed in room 503, an ocean-view room with a bed, and checked out at 11 am. My husband and I slept well in the warm room for the price. In winter, though, I'd recommend an ondol room. The floor was really warm, and there was an electric blanket in the bedroom, but the bathroom was chilly and drafty. The shower had hot water and strong pressure. There's a sink on the balcony. The motel is right by the sea and next to the train tracks. The view isn't especially pretty, but you can watch the morning sun directly. We couldn't hear the train at night, though the Sea Train passed right by the motel. I stayed on November 25th.
