Hotel ESS

The beds have been renovated and are really comfortable. I come here for a good night's sleep, and the place is spacious and good value on weekdays. Still, the bedding isn't exactly clean. I've stayed in the same room several times, and someone else's contact lenses were in the corner a month ago and were still there today. Housekeeping isn't great. The shower is always broken, and the sink doesn't drain properly. I've been here more than 20 times, and nearly every room has had the same lingering musty, cigarette-like smell. It never goes unnoticed.

Being close to the bus station was the only upside. The room was filthy and reeked of tobacco. They left the toilet paper from the previous guest instead of changing it, the towels were ancient and torn, and the fridge was full of dead bugs. Awful.

They have valet parking and discounts for cash payments. Breakfast includes a Korean buffet, cereal, and toast. There's also a clean billiards room, a table tennis table, a comic book shop, and a karaoke room. The cleanliness overall wasn't bad.

The room was clean, comfortable, and had no bad smell. Parking is a bit tight, though compact cars can use the parking tower. Breakfast is a simple Korean buffet with Hangang Ramen and toast, enough to get a filling meal. The 10th-floor lounge has free karaoke, billiards, and pocket balls for some fun.👍
