The bed was extremely firm, and I had trouble falling asleep. Most nights I was awake until 3am. We also had to ask for fresh cups after the ones we used for tea sat in the room for three days. I’d expect cup replacement to be part of the room cleaning. The location is pretty good, and it’s possible to open a window. But the service wasn’t great, and the air-conditioning blew directly onto us while we slept. There was no weak-cooling setting, and turning it off made the room hot and suffocating. We asked for another blanket so we could stay covered and avoid getting cold from the air-conditioning. They wanted $80 for it, so we tried keeping the window open overnight instead, which mostly did the trick. A very disappointing stay at an overpriced, mid-range hotel.

I’ve stayed here several times before, so I was very disappointed with the staff and their customer service this time. On December 28, 2025, I tried to check in under my name for a room my friend had booked. The receptionist said she couldn’t check me in without the reservation number. When I asked why my name and ID weren’t enough, she said it was because guests could have duplicate names. I’ve traveled a lot and stayed at hotels in many countries. In almost every case, showing valid ID, usually my passport, has been enough to check in. Requiring the reservation number in this situation seems unnecessary and made the process inconvenient. To me, it reflects poor front-desk management.

I stayed one night, and this was one of the best hotels I’ve used. The only small thing was that other Korean hotels gave free water bottles, while here they charged 1000krw for extra bottles after the two complimentary ones. I’d still stay here again when I’m back in Daejeon.

The rooms were great, and the restaurant on level 16 had the best food ever. Service was awesome. I got to know the head chef during my stay, an absolute legend of a man. This place is next-level epic, I can’t fault it. Perfect.

Restaurants are easy to find nearby, including halal options. The hotel was very clean, and the staff were extremely friendly.
