I stayed one night in a four-bed room. The beds were really good, and there was a little room for my suitcase. There's a shared living-room area, and a CU nearby. The location isn't that far from the subway. If you love dogs, you'll enjoy this place. The owner has several, and they're well behaved.

The owner, Mr. Lee, is the main reason I'll definitely return. On my first day I needed to exchange money and didn't have portable Wi-Fi, so I was trying to work out where to go using the guesthouse Wi-Fi. He asked about my plans and offered advice. When he realized I was terrible with directions and would get lost, he walked me to Eonju station, then to the bank, waited while I exchanged money, and helped me get and set up a T-money card. He went way out of his way to make things easier. He checked in about my plans and what I'd done throughout the week. One night, while I waited for a friend, he offered to teach me Korean. He helped me learn the alphabet and write, and even showed me how to yell at my late friend in Korean, haha. The day before I left, he asked when I planned to check out. I said around 2 if that was okay, and he told me not to rush. When I was heading out, he made sure I knew where to catch the airport bus and had enough money for it. I was there for six days, July 13th - 18th, in a four-person female dorm, traveling solo to see friends, drink, and sightsee. The guesthouse is in a great spot, about 10 minutes from Eonju and Yeoksam stations on two different train lines, and only about two minutes from a CU. It really feels like a house. The ladies' dorm is in the basement with its own entrance and outdoor area at the side. It's nice not being connected to the main house when you come back late, but you have to put your shoes on and walk outside to get there. The dorm doesn't have a common hangout area, so socializing mostly happens with roommates. There was enough sink and counter space in the common area to lay out makeup and hair stuff without getting in anyone's way. It's darker down there than in the rooms, though, so bring a small mirror if you want better light. Each room has its own attached bathroom, meaning you share the shower and toilet only with your roommates. No need to walk through the hostel in a towel. They provide a small face towel and shared hairdryers. The four-person room is cozy, but fine if you're mostly out. There's bag storage and an air conditioner. My only real issue was a roommate who was very loud at 5am. That can happen in a shared room. Next time I might choose a single so I don't have to deal with noise or worry about waking anyone when I get in late. Mr. Lee speaks Korean, Japanese, and some English. We mostly talked in Japanese, which felt more comfortable for both of us and gave me practice, so communication was easy. Sorry for the long post, but it was such a good stay. 10/10, I'd come back!

The owner is kind and accommodating, and is usually around if you need anything. The hostel is very close to Yeoksam station. I'd happily stay again.

The rooms are pretty basic, but we had a great stay. Mr. Lee was lovely and offered to help with anything we needed.

A simple place, about 10 minutes from the subway and a bit far from the city center.
