Ninespot Hotel

I found the location really convenient, just a short walk from Jungangro subway station and close to Sungshimdang Temple. I was heading from West Daejeon to Yeosu the next day, so it worked well for an overnight stay. There were plenty of convenience stores and sundae gukbap restaurants nearby, though many places shut fairly early and the area gets a bit dark by 10 p.m. My room was roomy and comfortable for one person. I could leave my suitcase open, and the TV was big enough to keep me watching TV shopping all day. The front desk staff kindly answered my questions about getting a taxi and traveling around West Daejeon. I checked in with just my name, without being asked for my passport, and at checkout I simply dropped my card into the box in the elevator. There was coffee by the front desk and a big shared refrigerator. The hallways were somewhat dark, but I got used to them. I felt fine staying there as a woman on my own. Since the shops close early, leaving earlier may be a good idea. The location was perfect for me. Thanks for the help!

The room was clean and the internet worked quickly. I liked how quiet the area around the hotel became in the evening, and there are convenience stores, supermarkets, and restaurants close by. It's behind NC Department Store, about a 15-minute walk from Daejeon Station through the underground shopping arcade. There aren't many good places to stay near the station.

The place itself was nice and the facilities were clean, but the refrigerator made so much noise that I couldn't sleep. The bathroom exhaust fan was just as loud, and it hurt my ears while I showered. I don't think I'll stay here again...

Most of the place was so clean and tidy that I'd be happy to stay again. The remodeling looked great, though I was disappointed to find curry sauce stains on the table to the left of the bed. There also weren't any spare outlets, since an electric blanket was plugged in beside the bed. It still felt a little cold without underfloor heating.
