Happy Day Hotel

I was here for a business trip and only needed a place to sleep before leaving. The price was fairly affordable, the location was good, and the room was clean. You can rent chargers on the first floor and leave your luggage there if you arrive early. It seems to be run together with a GS convenience store.

The location was good, and the place was very clean. Having a convenience store on the first floor was handy. I was a little disappointed that I had to ask them to turn on the air conditioner, and the towels didn’t absorb water well or feel like the usual hotel towels. Still, aside from those things, it was the best!!!

I stayed in a deluxe room. The bedding was average, but the blanket was fluffy and clean. In the bathroom there was no bidet, and the shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel were for communal use. The lobby felt cramped and had no coffee facilities. In the room, there was a standard TV, a small fridge with two bottles of water, a coffee pot, a hair dryer, and basic disposable items.

I first found this place on Yanolja while looking for somewhere to stay on a business trip. It had over 500 reviews and the facilities looked decent, so I gave it a try. The hotel was very clean, the staff were friendly, and I couldn’t find anything to complain about. My flight was canceled on the reservation date, so I called to ask about moving my booking to the next day, and they changed it right away. The staff answer questions promptly, which makes me think the owner has trained them well. I used to book near City Hall on business trips, but I plan to keep coming here. I’d read complaints about parking, but the lot in front of the motel was empty when I arrived, so I had no issue. The Ido area was quiet and had plenty of parking spots, though I suppose a central commercial district comes with its parking limitations. Convenient parking seems to mean a more secluded or more expensive place. It’s somewhere I’d consider staying again.
