The room smelled so awful when I walked in that I had to air it out for an hour. I should've asked to switch rooms, because there was serious leaking and mold all over. The towels were stained too, and even in Evil, the smell was terrible. Those old reviews calling it cheap and good don't reflect how it is now. It needs far more than a few improvements. I couldn't sleep, and the soundproofing was poor 😔
The place is warm with no drafts, and it was cleaned so well that my kids and I slept comfortably. The photos show it's an older building, but the staff are very kind. I plan to come back next time.
My family of three stayed two nights in a triple room and had a comfortable visit. The hot water worked well, and maybe because the renovation had just been completed, there was no cigarette smell.
Good for the price, and the place is small but clean. In room 307, though, the bathroom constantly smells of cigarettes and the air conditioner keeps switching off.
It's an old motel, more like an inn, so don't expect anything beyond a cheap bed for the night. I wouldn't recommend the large rooms. Still, it might do if you have nowhere else to go.
