Gangneung Boutique Russo Hotel

Pretty good, just a bit.

The location, facilities, and cleanliness all worked well for me, though the price felt a little high for a residential area. I had the top-floor deluxe room, which has a terrace-like space. It gets cold in winter, but otherwise it was nice to sit with a beer and look at the sky.

The owner was especially friendly and gave great service, and everything else was good too. I would have given five stars, but both suite mattresses were uncomfortable. Without a topper, they didn't feel very plush, so I took one star off.

The small pool was there, and the TV worked fine, but the rest felt like a motel stay. The blanket had a slight cigarette smell along with some other odors. Wi-Fi didn't work, and the computer was very slow. The toilet and shower are so close that the floor often gets wet.
