Gangneung The October Pension

I’d gone to the coast but booked a quiet place up in the mountains. The air was fresh, the surroundings were peaceful, and the owners were incredibly kind. It felt like the perfect setting. That first evening, though, I ate meat and ended up with a terrible stomachache. I was miserable through the night, and the next day I checked nearby convenience stores for emergency medicine, but none had any. I was dealing with it alone until I asked the owner. They went to a pharmacy to get medicine for me. They told me they’d been unwell and couldn’t go out for a day. Since the room was booked for the following day, they said I could stay an extra night and rest, but I had a schedule, so I headed back instead. Thank you for looking after me. I hope I can see you again next time.
