I liked the spa and the dining area, which looks out over a field. On my consecutive-night stay, they provided extra towels and amenities, and I didn't run into any other particular inconveniences. I was on the third floor. The place is good value, with cooking facilities, but don't expect an ocean view: you have to stand on tiptoe and look closely to spot a tiny bit of sea behind the pine trees. The bathroom and toilet are separate, which I liked, though the entrance has no door. It's a bit out of the way, and there's really nothing outside. Since I was traveling and came back late in the afternoon anyway, that didn't bother me. It was quiet, and a famous sashimi restaurant was just a one-minute drive away, where you can get takeout and enjoy raw fish and cold raw fish soup.

We checked in as four people and found the interior clean. Our fourth-floor unit was a duplex: the lower level had a spacious living room and kitchen, while upstairs was a roomy attic with a low ceiling. The pool came up to an adult's waist or navel. There was no charcoal barbecue; they had replaced it with a Zaiigle. Since it's a condo-style pension, food smells seem to be an issue. The owner was busy, perhaps managing other properties too. The location and access were good, and the place was decent. The awkward part was getting just one bedding set for four people.

The beach and a cafe are just a short walk away, and the convenience store on the first floor was handy. The Hongcheon beer they sell there is really tasty, I fell for it. My husband and I had a lovely day off in this cozy, comfortable place, and even got to use the spa at no extra charge. The owner was so kind, it touched me. The place was very clean, and with an off-season weekday discount, incredibly affordable. I felt bad about enjoying myself so much, ㅠㅠ. My home is in Gangneung, so I had to sleep at home and rushed out. I'm sorry I couldn't clean up more thoroughly! There's no frying pan, so we rented a Zaigle. Watch your step around the spa, since the floor can be slippery. Anyway, it was great! ^^

The owner was rude and unhelpful, which made a bad stay even worse. The Wi-Fi kept cutting out, and the spa barely produced any hot water. I booked for the ocean view in the photo, but the image had been photoshopped, and the actual view looked like a construction site. The worst. If you want a spa, go somewhere proper that costs at least 100,000 won. Cheap is always expensive.
