Top’s 10 Resort Donggang Cistar

We stayed in one of the non-renovated rooms because of our dogs, so I can't comment on the updated ones. Ours was clearly well used, with dinged furniture and small stains on parts of the walls, but it was very clean and HUGE for the price. Just keep in mind this isn't a high-luxury place and you'll be 1,000% satisfied. Even with snow on the ground, there were lovely walking paths all around and amazing views. I can only imagine how great it is in any season other than winter, haha. The convenience store is a good size and has a huge selection. It's more expensive than outside the resort grounds, as usual, but not terribly expensive. There's also a 24-hour robot cafe in the lobby, so you can get coffee anytime. The room had fast Wi-Fi, a huge TV that we could use Netflix on, and a good heater. The stand air conditioner was a fairly new LG Whisen unit and worked nicely. With the big windows that open and the breeze off the river, I don't think you'd need it in summer. The heat kept our old dogs very comfortable after long walks in the snow. I couldn't have been happier and will definitely come back. My second stay was just as good, too. It's a lovely place.

We couldn't really experience the resort because of the bad weather. The rooms were okay, though a bit old for the price. It's quite a long drive in from the main highway, and navigating the route in heavy winter snow was especially difficult.

The grounds are beautiful, the location is great for rafting, breakfast was generous with a good selection, and the price was alright. The room itself was in rough shape when we arrived. There were dead bugs everywhere, big cobwebs on the balcony, and used cigarette butts left there. It clearly hadn't been cleaned well. The interior looked horrible and needs a couple of coats of paint. You don't go to a hotel to stay inside, so if you can get past the room's awful appearance, it's a great place.

I had a really good night's sleep here. The resort is comfortable and nice, and the beds are big and very comfortable. They're great for a family to relax, vacation, and get some rest.
