The kids, ages 4, 9, and 11, loved this place. The pool villa was a mom’s dream. The private pool was a good size, deep enough for tweens, and the water was still warm the next morning even though we’d only requested warm water for one day. Bring your own shampoo and conditioner. They had a hair co-wash, but the water was pretty harsh and it wasn’t good enough. There’s a first aid kit in the room. Shops aren’t within walking distance, so it’s best to bring everything you’ll need, especially food and drinks.

My kids are so happy every time we come, and they love playing here. The owner is so kind. I almost want to keep this place to myself, haha. We’ll definitely visit again.
There aren’t many shops or amenities nearby, so come prepared. The climb up the mountain is pretty hard, too. But once you’re there, it’s quiet and peaceful, and without big buildings around, the stars are lovely. We had a great time alone together for our wedding anniversary, and the private bathroom was nice. Great value!
We had a lovely time with the kids and are planning to come back. I did my own research before booking and paid for the stay myself. This is just my personal experience, so others may feel differently. The building is new, clean, and tidy, including the cutlery, bathroom, and pool. The owner answered my questions quickly, even late at night, then showed us around and explained everything when we arrived. I thought he was thorough and kind. The room had a simple first aid kit with basic ointments and bandages. The kids loved the mini play area upstairs in the duplex, with swings, a trampoline, and a slide. The netting looked securely fitted, and the stairs had safety gates and nonslip material. It felt like they’d paid close attention to child safety. The indoor pool was one reason I chose this pension, since it seemed relatively spacious compared with others we considered. My child even said the bathroom was big, haha. There were life jackets and tubes, and they enjoyed the lukewarm water. I wished there had been a hammock, but maybe it wasn’t available in early winter. The heater was running full blast, so it felt as warm as an ondol room, almost too warm, haha. Hot water worked well, and my husband enjoyed a half-bath. The view from the second-floor balcony in the morning was picturesque. There were a couple of things I’d have liked. The pension is high up in the mountains, and although the road is paved, it’s narrow and scary. I worried about meeting a car coming the other way with nowhere to pull over, and my heart was pounding until we arrived. Since it’s a kids’ pension, children’s bathroom slippers and a toddler-size toilet seat would also be helpful. There was a doormat, but slippers might make the slippery tiles safer, even though no one fell or got hurt. A child-size toilet seat would make things easier for younger kids. It isn’t a fully private house, so noise from the pool or play area next door carries quite a bit. Our kids’ noise could bother other guests too, so everyone needs to be mindful. We had fun with the little ones and plan to visit again.
We rented a small, precious spot where we could hear the valley stream, which was lovely. For two people, the campfire is 20,000 KRW and BBQ is 20,000 KRW. Payment is by cash or bank transfer. Glamping spots are G4 on the left, G5 in the middle, and G6 on the right. Left and right may look reversed depending on which way you’re facing.
