We came with our two young kids, and the lady who runs the place was so friendly and helpful. She carried all our suitcases to the room and drove us to Gapyeong Wharf and the train station, saving us taxi rides. Our room had a wonderful view of nature, including Nami Island. We loved having a cold drink on the balcony in the evening and watching the stars, and the kids were thrilled with the bubble jacuzzi bath.

We spent one night at this lovely pension home, and the host was the highlight. She was extremely friendly, made sure we were looked after, gave us good advice about Nami island, and helped whenever we needed a car to get around. I’d highly recommend staying here.

The room has a beautiful view and a homely feel, and the owner is really sweet. Her English isn’t fluent, but she does her best to help us get around and avoid getting lost since we aren’t locals.

My husband and I stayed one night in this pension, which felt more like a boutique place. It’s secluded but very beautiful, peaceful, quiet, and clean. From our window there was a direct view of the river and mountains, and I think the other rooms have the same view. I’m glad I read the reviews on their webpage before booking. The bathtub also has a lovely view, and the lobby receiving area is captivating, great for Instagram photos. There’s a garden patio behind the pension that would be nice to hang out in outside the winter season. The owner is kind and speaks only a little English, but she really tried to communicate and suggest nearby places to visit. Since it’s a pension or boutique stay, it doesn’t have hotel amenities like a restaurant, pool, or gym. We were allowed to cook in the room’s kitchen, which had a big refrigerator and dining table. Beside the bed, which is raised about three steps above the kitchen, there’s also a lounge table. We enjoyed our night and would definitely come back with family.

Ms. Kisook, and I hope I’ve spelled her name right, was an outstanding host: so kind and hospitable. When she heard we planned to use taxis, she offered us rides to and from nami island wharf, then to the subway station on departure day. Our studio was very clean, with a kitchen we could use, and the bedroom and bathroom both had an amazing view of nami island. There was a jacuzzi in the bathroom too. We had a great stay, would love to return, and will recommend this pension to everyone.
