My dogs got to rest really well, and the bedding was clean. The owner was so kind, too. I mistakenly thought the restaurant served boiled chicken, so I shouldn’t have brought it along. I’ll try the restaurant next time. I’ll be back soon!
The water in the stream was clear, and we had a pretty good stay with the dogs. There weren’t as many bugs as I’d expected. The accommodation was in good condition, though it wasn’t especially clean. Two things made the stay harder: people talking late into the night at the outdoor barbecue area upset our noise-sensitive dogs, who couldn’t sleep properly, and the floor lights were turned off at night, leaving us shivering in the cold. Set hours for the barbecue area might help. Also, keep dogs from picking up and eating food scattered around there.
The rooms feel a little dated, though they’re still in decent shape. What makes the place work so well is the valley right beside it: the stream isn’t very deep, even though the water level changes, so kids and dogs can play there. You can barbecue with the sound of the water nearby, then wake up to birds. The road through the mountain valley is narrow and a bit rough, but it’s paved, and you can get through safely if the car ahead takes it slowly.
The owners were friendly, and the baeksuk and all the side dishes were delicious. I’d definitely recommend the draft beer too. The valley is clean and enjoyable for adults, kids, and dogs, and the rooms each have their own space and view. The facilities are a little old, but the price is good. If you bring a dog, a first-floor room may be handy since it opens to a barbecue area with a dog fence. You may hear some noise between floors when there are guests upstairs.
