I only meant to find a cheap place in Gapyeong for one night, somewhere to sleep before heading out the next day. The view was a lovely surprise, especially the river. The remodeled facilities were decent, the rooms were clean, and the bathrooms felt more like home than a hotel. For a standard room, the facilities and view made it great value.
It wasn’t a new building, but I was very happy with my stay. We booked a special room, and the river view through the clean window was amazing. Having coffee on the deck outside the room was lovely.
The standard room is small, but it’s warm and a great deal. The view of the Han River is beautiful.
The room was warm and the view was nice, but the cleaning could have been better. There wasn’t an exhaust fan in the bathroom, and it smelled strongly of urine.
A little dated, but the view is great.
