Geoje Finland Village Pension

The barbecue setup in each room was a real highlight, with space to cook both meat and seafood. Our group of 15 had a lovely time at this quiet mountain pension, enjoying the dry sauna and the aurora bulmyeong, a popular activity with younger people. It’s one of the few places in Geoje that can host several families. The owner and her son were so welcoming that I can see us becoming regulars.

The campfire was such a nice part of the stay, and the sauna after breakfast the next morning was great too. The owner and her son were kind, and I came away feeling relaxed. I’d love to come back. Stay well until then~^^

The setting is lovely, with fresh air, a nice view, and the city close by. There’s plenty of parking, around 7-8 spaces, and the heating worked well. The owner was friendly, and we had a pleasant stay overall. We had 13 people, including children, in the Helsinki Room. It’s 24 pyeong, about 800 square feet, and set over the first and second floors, with a stated capacity of 12, so it felt a bit cramped. The floors are linked by an indoor staircase, and there’s also outside access to the second floor. Both bathrooms are downstairs, one in the living room and one in the bedroom, so having no bathroom upstairs was inconvenient. The lock on the first-floor main bedroom bathroom is broken and needs fixing. There are two big dogs in the yard. Oddly, they didn’t bark at us, only reacting to cars going by, which was amusing.

We got to eat lettuce from the backyard, and it was delicious. The pension was clean, and the owner was kind. I had a restful stay and would like to come back when I’m in the area again.
