Geojedo Hansol Pension

I had a pleasant stay and would recommend it, and come back next time I’m in Geojedo. It’s in a quiet village across from a rocky beach, close to lots of attractions, restaurants, the cable car station, and one of the boat tours. It seems popular with couples spending a weekend on the island. The room was clean and straightforward. The bathroom design was the strangest I’ve seen, but it worked. In that small bathroom, the shower head came from the sink and could be attached to the wall, which was an ingenious idea. The hotel has a high-end feel, so it was odd to find no front desk staff, just self-service machines. You enter the room with a passcode, but there were several places to return room keys, which was confusing, and I wasn’t sure I had checked out correctly. Without staff available to help, the hotel felt less high-end than it seemed to aim for. Someone called persistently at 8 am, when I was barely awake, asking about the cleaning schedule. That wasn’t welcome.
