The water's shallow, so fishing isn't possible. It wasn't especially clean and had a bit of a smell, though there weren't many bugs. I liked that the dog pool was separate from ours. The owner was just so-so, not especially friendly. For the price, it felt more like a 60,000 won place than one worth 100,000 won. Cleanliness: 2.5 out of 5. View: 4.5. Convenience: 3.5. Friendliness: 3.5.
We stayed for two nights. They thoughtfully left extra towels and toilet paper, and the owners were kind. They didn't bother us much about recycling, cleaning, making a mess, or grilling, which I've found annoying at other places. We just had to collect the trash in one spot, and we did need to wash the dishes. Since they gave us so much freedom, I felt we should do our part and keep things as clean and tidy as we could. The yard was spacious and the dogs had a great time running around, and the guests enjoyed it too. The pool was nice as well, although my dogs are still unsure around water and didn't really enjoy it. I had plenty of fun in it myself, haha. I picked the place because there aren't many dog-friendly pensions that take large dogs, and I hadn't expected much, but I'd definitely come back. There's a nice coastal walking trail nearby, though we were too busy enjoying the accommodation to visit it. The room also had a private bathtub, but we didn't get to use it because we were playing in the pool.
The indoor barbecue area saved the evening when typhoon rain set in, and we still had a great time. Our youngest enjoyed the place as much as our dog, and the owner was warm and helpful, even though I felt a little unsure after making a quick booking for several nights. He was especially kind to dogs. After playing in the outdoor pool, we were chilled and our lips were chapped, so we went straight to the private bathtub in our room to splash around. There’s a swing in every room too. ♡
Our dog had a lovely time, and there’s room for dogs to run around. The pension shows some age, but it’s clean and pleasant. The owner was the best, so kind and clearly a big dog lover. ♡
The kids had a great time, and I’d like to come back. The rooms aren’t fancy, but our stay was comfortable. The pool felt big for my little kids, and they also played on the lawn at the dog cafe just below. We came because it was a dog pension, though sometimes people seemed to come back even when they weren’t supposed to. ㅜㅜ I was in Geoje at the time too.
