Gochang Sonamu Self Check-in Motel

The facilities were okay, nothing special, but the bathroom was unnecessarily large and its towel rack was broken. I wish the owner would keep up with maintenance. I parked, went upstairs, and rang the bell several times. No one answered, so I left. Seven minutes later they called me back, and I returned.

It was just okay. There was no bathtub, and it was an unmanned hotel with one shot per person. The stairs by the parking lot were covered in trash, cobwebs, and dust. The coffee boat was dusty and had hair on it, like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. Not worth 50,000 won.

The service was unfriendly, and it seemed like paying by card cost more. In my opinion, the place didn’t feel clean, and some basic amenities were missing from the room.

There weren't any other places to stay nearby, so I ended up here. The room itself was pretty standard, though the paintings felt a bit overpowering. Since it's a self check-in motel, booking can be awkward if you're not familiar with the process.
