The garden is kept in great shape, and the accommodation itself was clean. There’s no elevator, though, which made carrying large suitcases a hassle. If you’re going to the Dinosaur Expo, it’s a good place to stay. I skipped the pool, but I imagine it would be really nice.

Getting to the villa means taking a staircase of uneven stones, with no other route. That’s difficult with luggage, a stroller, or a wheelchair, and at night the dark path feels even more dangerous. There’s nobody at the front desk either, since it’s run together with the cafe.

Breakfast was a highlight for me. The heated pool was lovely and warm, and the sunset and sunrise were both beautiful. The rooms were clean and looked after, with especially nice landscaping. There are different room types for different kinds of trips, and a golf course just behind the hotel makes it convenient for a golf getaway. It’s right beside the Dinosaur Expo, though Sangjokam and its many dinosaur footprints take a bit of walking to reach. Parking can be tricky with lots of bags, but carts are available at the front desk. I was very satisfied and had a great, restful stay.

We ordered the BBQ ahead, and the big electric grill cooked everything really well, so that was a hit. Definitely order breakfast too, the seasoned vegetables were delicious. There’s no convenience store on site, so it’s better to shop before you arrive. Nonghyup Hanaro Mart is about a 10-minute drive away. The pool is tiny, and parking was a letdown because there weren’t enough spaces. I expected less from an older resort, but the adults really liked it. The wood and stone details seemed right up their alley.
