Ocean Spa Hotel

For the money, it felt like the best value. The staff were friendly, the amenities were satisfactory, and there were plenty of towels. I arrived late but wasn't bothered, since every room faces the ocean. Even from the second floor, the view was great. One issue: there was chili sauce spilled on the table, and I got some on my hand while moving things. I was tidying up before checkout and probably missed it because the table was dark, but still. I heard the sauna is good, though I didn't try it. The deck path out front looks inviting.

Breakfast comes with a ticket and is served at the restaurant next door. It's a Korean buffet with rice, soup, 7-8 side dishes, fried eggs, bacon, cereal, milk, orange juice, and packaged seaweed. Meals are simple, and the hotel is quiet. With fewer than 30 rooms, it has no amenities, but the view and value are good. You can use a simple sauna for free every day. The wooden boardwalk along the nearby coastal road is nice for walks, though people in lower-floor rooms may feel self-conscious with passersby so close.

A good spot to unwind, with a walking path right next door for strolls in the daytime or at night. I liked that the hotel has a sauna, and the Haejigae raw fish restaurant beside it was nice too.

There aren't any convenience stores nearby, so it's a good idea to bring groceries along. I stayed in a standard room, and the weekend rate was 120,000 won including breakfast. Every room has an ocean view. Breakfast runs until 8:30 AM, either as sandwiches through room service or as set meals in the restaurant. Basic supplies like toothpaste, a toothbrush, shampoo, body wash, and soap are provided.
