Gimcheon Hotel Esang

There’s no breakfast, even though it’s a hotel, but shops and restaurants are close by. I stayed one night for an event and found the place clean and comfortable. Parking is easy, with a spot at each room and a large separate lot as well.

Restaurants, bars, and coffee shops are right nearby, which makes the location very convenient. There aren’t many places to stay around Gimcheon-Gumi Station, though, and the rates seem high for the facilities. I’d planned to find a cheaper motel farther away but wound up staying here. A room with a tub in the room was 110,000 won, while one with the tub in the bathroom was 90,000 won.

Yulgok Square, Burger King included, is only about a two-minute walk away. The suite has a cozy feel and the place is tidy, though weekend rates are steep and there’s no self-service bar.

Check-in is fully unmanned, and there’s one check-in per day. This is one of the Innovation City’s only two lodging options, one hotel and one motel. It costs a lot, but the motel is clean and well kept.
