W Hotel Gumi Okgye

We came to Gumi for a close friend's wedding and stayed the night before with family. The quiet residential setting suited us well, with a walking path right outside. At night it was so peaceful that I slept soundly, then woke up to birds singing. The spacious room was a real plus, and the bathtub was big enough for all of us to enjoy. My husband and daughter watched Netflix on one of the two TVs while I relaxed with a Seragem treatment. There was also a hair styler and a hair iron, which helped me get my wedding outfit ready for the next day. They served a simple breakfast, too. It rained, so we put off our Tiny Ping Land visit until the next day and came to the hotel first. Despite the weather, we had a lovely stay, went to the wedding, took photos at Tiny Ping Land, and got back to Seoul safely. I'd stay here again if I return, and it worked really well for our family.

There wasn't much food around, but the nearby river and walking paths made it nice to explore on foot. The scenery was pretty, and the facilities, bed, and floor were all very clean. The bathroom was fine, and there wasn't much of a smell.

I come back here whenever I'm in Gumi. It's quiet and comfortable, with walking trails nearby, and the breakfast on the third floor is good. Getting to the food street is convenient too, only about 10 minutes away.

This place is often used by business travelers. The room was clean and spacious, and it was quiet, though there aren't many places to eat right nearby.
