Ritz Motel Gunpo

The cigarette smell hung around all night, and the bathroom had flies everywhere. Black larvae were moving in the cracks in the bathtub floor. I’d booked two nights, but after getting through the first one, I left at dawn. One of the five worst places I’ve stayed in the last few years, and it wasn’t even cheap.

It's close to Gunpo Station and has parking. The place looked fairly clean, but the facilities are quite old. The price was 40,000 won, which doesn't feel cheap for the accommodation.

For our year-end party, our groom's group rented two large rooms for 10 people. The place was clean, the staff were friendly, and it was affordable. Having the bathroom and toilet separate was convenient, though the bathroom had no sink, so washing our hands afterward was a hassle.

The electric blanket kept me warm, but a draft made the bathroom seriously cold. The water pressure was weak, and the yellowish ones looked very different from the new ones. The two bathrobes were different materials, too, and the sofa had cigarette burns, haha.
