The showers were great, though I found the beds a bit uncomfortable. The rooms have an old-fashioned charm, and the typical Korean buffet didn't look very appealing.

The neighborhood is an entertainment district. The room itself was clean, and I liked the roomy bathtub. The vibe was more upscale motel than hotel.

The breakfast buffet tasted like home cooking, and Eunpa Lake Park nearby is nice for a walk. The hotel is on the outskirts of Gunsan, but fairly close to the Saemangeum Seawall and Seonyudo Island. I stayed in what I heard is the hotel's only triple room. It was spacious and had good facilities, including a big TV, a computer, and a clothes steamer.

The restaurant could use brighter lighting, though the breakfast was delicious. The owner and staff were very kind, and I ended up adding a day to my stay when heavy snow fell during my trip to Gunsan. This was my second visit, and I plan to come back on my next trip.
